About Our Ministry
Our Mission
We are here to demonstrate the Love of Christ both in word and in action – preaching the Gospel. We embrace a holistic approach to ministry and are determined to offer and implement practical hands-on solutions to poverty and addiction.
Our Vision
We see this ministry bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God and glorify His name! We will actively reach out to the homeless and addicted men and women to develop our current fellowship meeting.
Our Inspiration
Jesus’ command, “Go into the streets and back lanes of the city”, Luke 14:21b-23.

Current Projects
The Coffee Wagon
The Coffee Wagon project is intended to create a space where people can come together for some coffee and receive spiritual care and counselling with no strings attached.
Outreach Events
Shalom Ministry hosts regular social events to make our resources available to those in need. All of the information relating to these events can be found around out website.
Recovery House
The Recovery House is a planned project for the future. This project will create a safe place that offers all of our discipleship programs through a personalized curriculum.
Drop-in Centre
We endeavor to house and minimize homelessness with wrap-around support that will cater to all the homeless in the Abbotsford region, visualizing a 70% goal of the homeless maintaining housing for more than a year.
